The Verna is very expertly packaged by Hyundai. It's well-built, has a lot of industry-first features, and offers a sufficient range of engine options. Although the room in the back seats is only just about sufficient, given the bargain it delivers, it is difficult to ignore.
The extensively redesigned Verna from Hyundai has boosted competition in the C-segment. The Korean automaker has completely redesigned the 2018 ICOTY model, giving it a new design language, a more modern motor, and best-in-class amenities, but this is not a generation upgrade.
Verna top model price is between Rs. 9.41 Lakh to Rs. 15.45 Lakh. Hyundai Verna is available in 12 versions, with the E model serving as the base model and the Hyundai Verna SX Opt AT Diesel. The most expensive of which, with a starting price of Rs. 15.45 Lakh, serving as the top variant.
This SX(O) Turbo trim's premium features distinguish it from the base model's appearance. The large, cascading grille up front has a distinctive pattern instead of the typical mesh design and is finished in gloss black. The wraparound headlamps, which now receive more modern LED lighting components, give the redesign a more holistic appearance. The shark fin antenna, ORVMs, and bumper chin all have black accents that match the Turbo trim. The Verna has a coupe-like stance in profile because of its sloping roofline.
It feels like a new car when you step inside because the inside has undergone substantial alterations. The all-digital instrument cluster is the first thing that stands out because of how much it resembles BMW's digital dashboard. This copycat may not be widely accepted, but it does have an upscale and pricey appearance. Compared to the Creta's partially digital display, it is much easier to read and much superior.
The interior has lots of room, just like the old Verna. Good lateral support and bolstering are provided by the cooled function of both front seats.
Hyundai has also made its BlueLink connected features available in the new Verna as features. Along with six airbags, a sunroof, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors, wireless charging, power mirrors and windows, a rear camera, and an Arkamys sound system, the car still comes standard with these features.
With a loan amount of Rs 10.05 Lakh and a down payment of Rs 1.12 Lakh, the Hyundai Verna's EMI starts at Rs 21,248 per month for a 60-month term at 9.8 percent.
Sunroofs are available on the Hyundai Verna SX, SX Diesel, and 7 other variations.
Verna comes in the following colour options: Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, Starry Night, Polar White, and Titan Grey.
Both the Verna and City 4th Generation have ex-showroom starting prices of Rs 9.41 lakh and Rs 9.50 lakh, respectively. The price, features, and specifications of these two versions should be compared.
In Delhi, the Verna on road price is Rs. 10,58,633. The cost of insurance and RTO fees are included in the on-road price.
The Hyundai Verna is offered with a manual or automatic transmission with a choice of petrol or diesel engines.
Hyundai Verna's ARAI mileage is 17.7 kmpl.
The cost of the 5-seater Hyundai Verna sedan ranges from Rs. 9.41 to 15.45 lakhs. It comes in 12 different variations, with 3 BS6-compliant engine options and your choice of either a manual or automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Verna will cost Rs 15,338 in maintenance over the course of five years. First and second services are provided without charge after 10,000 and 20,000 kilometres, respectively.
In ASEAN NCAP crash tests, the Hyundai Verna (which has six airbags) received a 5-star rating.
The top-of-the-line Verna model is the SX (O) 1.5 CRDi AT, with an ex-showroom price of 15.44 Lakh.
