The exteriors of the BMW X7 exude quality. The car features sporty design elements in the form of a huge kidney grille with integrated cascade lighting, split-LED headlights with LED DRLs and a muscular bonnet. This fresh design approach is inspired by the new 7-series and i7-electric sedan. In profile, the car looks like a mammoth, however, the length is perfected by a low height.

The large 20-inch alloy wheels come as standard and are nicely filled in body-coloured wheel arches, making the stance bolder. The LED taillights at the back are reworked with a revised rear diffuser and sporty exhaust tailpipes lifting the elegance further.

BMW X7 Interiors

As a flagship vehicle, the X7 is a pinnacle of luxury and comfort. The interiors of the BMW X7 SUV have been jazzed-up and the moment you step inside, a sense of ultimate driving pleasure crops up in the mind. The SUV witnessed a restyled dashboard and a new large curved infotainment system dominating the area.

The touchscreen which comprises 14.9-inch infotainment and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster has been directly lifted from the new range of electric cars from the brand. The system gets BMW's updated iDrive 8 software.

Comfort

As far as comfort is concerned, you name it and the car has it. The SUV features four-zone climate control, a new 14-colour ambient light bar enhancing the mood, a head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof. Moreover, it gets wireless phone charging, BMW gesture control, wireless smartphone integration, a powered driver's seat with lumbar support, and ventilated and heated front seats.

For entertainment, the car gets a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. The cushion at the rear seats is designed using Alcantara.

Safety

The vehicle comes with multiple airbags for front passengers and second seat row including head, side and knee. Further, you get aspects like cornering brake control, dynamic brake stability and traction control, electric parking brake, tyre pressure indicator, and hill descent control.

The car is loaded with a 360-degree camera which combines with the updated ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to provide a range of automated robust safety covers. Then there are unique parking assistance features such as reversing assistant, remote 3D view and fully remote parking via smartphone that make it special among its league.

BMW X7 Specifications and Performance

As a top-of-the-line SUV, the new BMW X7 specs are top-notch. The car now comes with an updated set of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol powertrain is the 3.0L unit that produces 381PS and 520Nm torque, while the diesel variants get the 3.0L motor generating 340PS and massive 700Nm torque. An 8-speed automatic gearbox is standard.

Both the petrol and diesel engines are equipped with AWD systems and 48V mild-hybrid technology. The engine is the best part of this car, and this is reflected when you tap the accelerator and get that crisp and immediate feedback. The additional torque makes the car effortless even at low speeds. The BMW X7 claims to reach 0-100kmph in 5.9 seconds. The SUV gets multiple driving modes including Comfort, Efficient Sport and Sport Plus.
