Volkswagen has now added the new GT DSG variant to the Virtus lineup for Rs. 16.19 lakh and this makes a total of five variants for choice: Comfortline, Highline, Topline, GT, and GT Plus.
The new variant is slotted between the Topline and GT Plus. The new trim houses the 1.5-litre, inline, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 148 bhp of power between 5,000 to 6000 rpm and 250 Nm of peak torque between 1,600-3,600 rpm. The company claims an ARAI mileage of 19.62 kmpl.
The new variant comes with features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, an electric sunroof, auto wipers, rear air-con vents, an eight-speaker audio system, TPMS, powered ORVMs, auto-dimming IRVMS, and dual airbags to name a few.
The company offers seven colours for the new trim: Candy White, Carbon Steel Grey, Wild Cherry Red, Rising Blue, Curucma Yellow, Reflex Silver, and Lava Blue. Additional features include GT emblem on the grille, fender, tailgate, red brake callipers, rear spoiler in gloss black, red ambient lighting, and 16-inch alloy wheels to name a few.
