The top manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki, debuted three new models in 2023 with great success: the Maruti Jimny, Maruti Fronx, and Maruti Invicto. They're currently preparing for 2024, when they are aiming to introduce three more cars, including their first electric car (EV).
1.New Maruti Swift: The fourth-generation Swift is scheduled for release in March 2024 and will have a distinct exterior and interior design. A brand-new 1.2-liter petrol engine with a choice of manual or automatic gearbox may be installed. It might not, however, provide hybrid or all-wheel-drive models in India.
- Maruti eVX: The company plans to introduce this new model, which will be its first electric SUV, in April 2024. It was demonstrated in Japan, and tests have been noticed in India.
It's expected to come with a 60 kWh battery and two motors, giving it a range of up to 550 km.
The next generation Maruti Dzire is expected to go on sale in the middle of 2024 and will share features with the Swift. More cutting-edge innovations in technology and a new design are expected.
