Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the facelifted Ioniq 6 at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 in Korea. The facelifted electric saloon is launched along with the Ioniq 6 N Line. Many aesthetic changes were made to the updated model while keeping it identifiable as Ioniq 6. The N Line version of the electric saloon, however, appears to be louder for obvious reasons.
Well, let us quickly understand what the refreshed Ioniq 6 has in store.
2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Facelift
At first glance, not much changed except for the headlamp and DRL setup. However, changes, indeed, go beyond that. Adopting the split-type architecture for headlamps and DRL feels more in line with Verna, but rather than a connected setup, the Ioniq-6 goes for svelte but pixelated-style units.
An elevated hood and elongated shape with a shark-nosed design present a beautiful side profile that appears to slice through the air. The black garnish along the lower body extending to the doors emphasizes the Ioniq-6's slippery body.
The rear spoilers in the previous-generation car were proportionately larger. The new Ioniq-6 showcases an extended ducktail spoiler to note the fine balance between aerodynamic performance and pure modernism.
There is something modern and technical about the detailing at the front and rear. Slim DRLs and main lamps separate the cues; horizontal elements give the car a broader stance, with a rear bumper design that continues the front, all furnished with contemporary chrome highlights.
The interior of the new Ioniq 6 has a new steering wheel, and the door trims feel plusher. In terms of interior layout, the center console was reconfigured for better usability, and the climate control display was enlarged for easy operation.
2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N Line
The Ioniq 6 N Line variant was launched alongside the new Ioniq 6 with still more boldness and versatility derived directly from the design DNA of the RN22e Rolling Lab of 2022.
As to embellish the aggressive dynamic appeal of the N Line model, more detailed and sculptural forms develop both front and rear wing-formed bumpers. The wing-inform bumper designs aesthetically impart a lower stance to the car in conjunction with a side sill accentuated with a single line.
Moreover, the massive use of black at the rear, extolled from the design of the RN22e, adds to the sporty proportions of the Ioniq 6 N Line. The design of the two-dimensional Parametric Pixel lamps adds to this digital flavor.
The Hyundai motor also teased the impending IONIQ 6 N during the unveiling, hinting at a coming high-performance flow-aligned electrified machine.
