The Hero Passion Plus has been launched at a price of Rs. 76,301 (ex-showroom), the engine is now OBD-2 compliant and E20-ready.
The bike is offered in three shades: Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue, and Black Heavy Grey. Powering the Passion Plus is the same 97.2 cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled, four-stroke engine mated to a four-speed gearbox that produces 7 bhp of power at 8,000 rpm and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The bike comes shod with tubeless 18-inch alloy wheels with 130 mm drum brakes on both sides. Suspension duties are done by a telescopic fork up front and a twin shock unit at the rear.
The bike is 1982 mm long, 770 mm wide, 1,087 mm tall with a wheelbase of 1,235 mm, and has a ground clearance of 168 mm. The bike tips the scales at 115 kg and the fuel tank has a capacity of 11 litres.
A few noteworthy mentions include a mobile charging port, alloy wheels, Digi-analog dash, side stand indicator, i3S tech, silver rim tapes, and chrome accents on the body. The bike rivals the likes of the Honda Shine and Bajaj Platina to name a few.
