The Exter, Hyundai's next micro SUV, offers several characteristics. No other SUV in its class has a sunroof that can be opened with a voice command, but the Exter will offer such a feature. The Exter's sunroof, dubbed the "Smart Electric sunroof," will open in response to voice requests like "Open Sunroof'' or "I want to see the sky." It is a single-pane sunroof and really makes this compact SUV stand out.
Other Features
The dash cam with dual cameras is the other significant Exter feature that Hyundai has disclosed. Front and rear cameras, a 5.84 cm (2.31") LCD display, smartphone app connection, and many recording modes are all features of the dashcam. Various recording settings are also available, including Driving (Normal), Event (Safety), and Vacation (Time Lapse).
The Exter is made to make driving relaxing and pleasurable. It has a number of conveniences, including a roomy interior, cutting-edge entertainment technology, automated temperature control, and LED headlights. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for increased safety are included in the highest trims along with other high-end equipment like heated and ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, a thorough 360-degree video system, and more. Six airbags will come standard on the mini SUV, while electronic stability control, or ESC, will be an option on the basic model and a must on higher models.
Colors Available
For the Exter, Hyundai has made sure that there is a large variety of exterior paint colors. Six monochromatic alternatives are available to customers, including Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Titan Grey, and the brand-new Ranger Khaki for Hyundai.
Pricing of the Exter
The Exter SUV's pricing information is scheduled to be released shortly. It is believed to be less expensive than the Hyundai Venue, making it the brand's most cost-effective SUV in the Indian market. The Hyundai Exter is expected to be a strong competitor in the SUV market with its outstanding selection of versions, amenities, and engine choices, appealing to a wide spectrum of buyers looking for a fashionable and practical car.
Rivals
Hyundai's Exter, the company's entry-level SUV, will round out the lineup in the sub-4-meter SUV segment with the Venue. The Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger are just a few of the competitors the Exter will face. The Exter, however, stands out in its class right now because it has a sunroof.
Bookings for the Exter SUV have started, and it will ship standard with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, an AMT automated transmission and a manual gearbox. The Exter also has a CNG alternative. The Exter will debut on July 10th and come in the following variants: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) Connect.
