Aston Martin is thinking of launching the 1,079hp Valhalla supercar in India, as the British automaker continues to enhance its footprint in the country. The company has mentioned that it is taking India "very, very seriously," as a testimony to its intentions of meeting the rising demand for luxury high-performance vehicles.
The Indian market has already evinced keen interest in the Valhalla, again pointing to the possibility of success for the hybrid supercar in the market.
More information
Aston Martin India's sales general manager, Gautam Dutta, discussed the importance of the Indian market to the British automaker. "Globally, India is being taken very, very seriously within Aston Martin," and stated that all Aston Martin models "available in the global market will certainly make their way to India. So, hoping that, yes, Valhalla should also come."
Indian buyers hint at demand for Valhalla
Dutta has also mentioned that Aston Martin has been getting inquiries for the Valhalla from potential Indian buyers, suggesting that there is some interest in the plug-in hybrid supercar in this market. Deliveries of the Valhalla will begin in the second half of 2025, and it appears reasonably likely that at least one of the 999 models will go to India.
Details of Aston Martin Valhalla
The Valhalla is Aston Martin's initial mid-engined plug-in hybrid supercar. Similar to the Valkyrie, the Valhalla uses technology from Aston Martin's F1 arm. The powertrain includes a developed version of Mercedes-AMG's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with three electric motors, collectively producing 1,079hp and 1,110Nm of torque.

Aston Martin also created a bespoke 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for the Valhalla, and the 0-100kph dash is handled in 2.5 seconds. There's an EV mode on offer too, where the Valhalla quietly lopes along with no V8 help for 14km and 140kph.
The supercar is mostly constructed from carbon fiber to maintain minimal weight, and its radical aerodynamics-focused design takes cues from the Valkyrie.
Conclusion
The Aston Martin Valhalla’s potential arrival in India marks an exciting development for supercar enthusiasts in the country. With its advanced hybrid powertrain, F1-inspired technology, and limited production run, the Valhalla is poised to become one of the most exclusive and high-performance offerings in the market. Given the growing demand for luxury and high-performance vehicles in India, Aston Martin’s commitment to bringing its global models here further solidifies its presence. If the Valhalla does make its way to Indian shores, it will undoubtedly set a new benchmark in the supercar segment.
