ICE-powered Jaguars have come to an end with the completion of the ten-year production run of the Jaguar F-Pace.
Jaguar is currently making a complete switch to electric cars, and a new EV model is anticipated in 2026.
The Jaguar F-Pace's ten-year production run is now officially over. At Jaguar's Solihull plant in the United Kingdom, the last unit was produced, marking the end of an important period in the company's history. Jaguar's first SUV, the F-Pace, helped the company go far beyond its roots as a sports vehicle.
The final F-Pace will be conserved for model enthusiasts and given to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, a collection that houses the manufacturer's final units and vintage automobiles.
Ten Years of Performance and Style
The F-Pace was first unveiled at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. When it debuted in international markets in 2016, it was praised for combining performance, luxury, and usefulness. Later that year, it made its way to India with diesel engines, and in 2018, a petrol version joined. In order to maintain its competitiveness in the luxury market, the SUV underwent a facelift in 2021.
The F-Pace's final version came with an 8-speed automated gearbox, all-wheel drive, with a choice between a 247-horsepower gasoline engine and a 204-horsepower diesel. It was last sold for about ₹72.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
Make the Switch to an Electric-Only Future
The choice to discontinue F-Pace production is consistent with Jaguar's overarching plan to focus only on electric vehicles. As a result of this SUV's departure, Jaguar's global lineup no longer includes any internal combustion vehicles.
In late 2024, Jaguar unveiled a new brand identity and used the Type 00 prototype as a sneak peek at its future appearance.
Due to interruptions caused by a cyberattack earlier in 2025, Jaguar's first production EV under this new age, a four-door electric GT, was originally supposed to make its appearance by the end of 2025 but has been postponed until 2026. This new vehicle, which will be manufactured at the same Solihull facility that made the F-Pace, is anticipated to debut initially in North America and Europe before perhaps becoming available in other regions.
What This Signifies for Jaguar
Now that the F-Pace is a part of automotive history, Jaguar is completely focused on electric vehicles. As the corporation reimagines itself in a constantly evolving sector, the forthcoming EV lineup will compete with high-end electric models from other luxury manufacturers.
