Legendary 4th Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift Launched

Maruti Suzuki Swift is undoubtedly one of the legendary cars in the Indian Automotive Market and the Launch of Fourth Generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is also the most anticipated one.

Finally, the car has been launched today at Rs 6.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The fact that this hatchback has sold almost 3 million units since going on sale in the nation is a good indicator of its popularity. It has consistently been one of the best-selling products, drawing customers in with its amazing value package. Let's see what awaits us from the Maruti Suzuki Swift of 2024.

Design Updates

The 2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift retains its overall appearance while undergoing minor design tweaks. Its redesigned grille with honeycomb mesh inserts keeps its sporty, small look. Though the rear door handles were formerly concealed in the C-pillars, they have now been relocated to the door, leaving the side profile unchanged.

The Swift will be offered in nine additional tints, including the new colors Blue and Orange, and will now include alloy wheels, LED illumination, and 15-inch wheels.

With a new free-floating infotainment system that includes wireless smartphone connectivity, a 6-speaker audio system, navigation, and more than 40 connected car features, the 2017 Swift has a black dashboard. In addition, it has a semi-digital instrument dashboard, rear AC vents, and other amenities.

The most significant feature change pertains to safety, as the 2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift is the first to come equipped with six airbags as standard. Additional safety features include ISOFIX seat anchors, stability control, and ABS with EBD.

Engine Details

The previous 1.2-liter 4-cylinder K-Series engine is replaced with a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine in the new Swift. The engine is paired with either an AMT unit or a 5-speed manual gearbox, producing 80 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. In the manual and AMT versions, Maruti Suzuki has also managed to get a mileage of 24.8 km/l and 24.75 km/l, respectively.
