Volkswagen Unveils New Taigun Gt Plus Sport And Gt Line Trims Enhancing The Taigun Range

Volkswagen Unveils New Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line Trims, Enhancing the Taigun Range

A new trim level, the Taigun GT Plus Sport, and the Taigun GT Line are two distinct new additions to the Volkswagen Taigun line-up; they are products of the latest expansion by the company. This is achieved through the provision of these trim additions that in the end offer more selections making the experience at the tail end of driving unique in its class. The Taigun Plus GT Sport is equipped with a strong 1.5-litre turbo-gasoline engine, versus the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine listed in the Taigun GT line.

The decorated show-off of both the Taigun GT Plus Sport and the Taigun GT Line is due to the external visual privileges that they enjoy which are not present in the standard Taigun. This car is exemplified by GT Plus Sport's sleek, smoked LED headlamps, a Carbon Steel Grey roof as well as attention-grabbing red GT symbols, featured on the grille, fenders and rear trunk. If I would mention prominent exterior details I'd say it is dark chrome door handles, red brake callipers, and chrome delete treatment. Such a feature improves the sportiness of the exterior look.

Sports GT Plus Sport variant comes in a decadent combination of all-black inside to suit a sporty model. The interior is covered in black leatherette with red stitching all over it. Sleek black inserts contribute to the belief of higher quality, while a GT emblem on the driver’s seats puts a finish to the car’s luxurious look. The Taigun GT Line is centred on the similarity of features but with some slight discriminations like it doesn’t have a red brake caliper and GT Line logo on the door.

Under the hood, the Taigun GT Plus Sport is powered by a robust 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering an impressive 150hp and 250 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Taigun GT Line is equipped with a responsive 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 115hp and 178Nm of torque. Transmission options vary between the trims, with the GT Plus Sport offering a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while the GT Line can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Regarding the matter of contest, the car’s range-topping Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport Sport threatens other good opponents such as the Hyundai Creta N-Line and Kia Seltos X-Line, for instance. Also, being a midsize SUV it gets into a fight with some other brand variants such as Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder and Honda Elevate.

With the introduction of the Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line trims, Volkswagen continues to elevate its offerings in the competitive SUV segment, catering to diverse consumer preferences and driving needs.
