The MG M9 Presidential Limousine now retails at Rs 75.9 lakh (ex-showroom), following a Rs 5 lakh price increase in April 2026.
The MG Cyberster sports car has also been revised upwards by Rs 2.5 lakh, bringing its price to Rs 77.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Premium Portfolio Feels the Pinch as MG Select Vehicles Get Costlier
JSW MG Motor India, riding the momentum of its Windsor EV's strong reception in the market, has been steadily building its premium arm under the MG Select banner. This network caters specifically to the brand's luxury and high-performance offerings, and in April 2026, both vehicles under this umbrella have seen a price revision.
Though no official reasoning has been provided by the company, rising input costs are widely understood to be the driving factor. It is worth noting that this revision follows a separate price hike that had already been announced for MG's mainstream lineup sold through its regular dealerships, also effective April 2026.
MG M9 Presidential Limousine Gets the Bigger Bump
Rs 5 Lakh Addition Takes the MPV Past the Rs 75 Lakh Mark
The MG M9 takes the larger hit of the two, with its price climbing by Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). It now carries a sticker price of Rs 75.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Sold in a single trim called the Presidential Limousine, the M9 competes in a fairly wide segment that ranges from the Kia Carnival at the more accessible end to the Toyota Vellfire, Mercedes-Benz V-Class, and Lexus LM at the upper echelons.
In practical terms, its closest rival remains the Kia Carnival, which is currently priced at Rs 59.42 lakh (ex-showroom), meaning the M9 sits in a noticeably different price bracket.
MG Cyberster Also Gets Revised, Crosses the Rs 77 Lakh Threshold
The Electric Sportscar Still Stands Alone in Its Price and Performance Class
The Cyberster, MG's head-turning electric sportscar, has been revised upward by approximately Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Before the revision, it was priced at Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and it now sits at Rs 77.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Like the M9, the Cyberster is available in a single variant, featuring a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup that allows it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds. Its 77 kWh battery pack claims a range of 580 km on a single charge.
The car's scissor-style doors and a convertible roof make it a genuine standout in a market that has very little else to offer at this price point and performance level.

What Lies Ahead for MG in India
A Busy Launch Calendar Could Keep the Brand in the Spotlight
Despite the price revisions, MG's product pipeline for India looks fairly active. The brand is preparing to launch the Majestor SUV, which will step into the shoes of the outgoing Gloster and take on the Toyota Fortuner in the competitive large SUV segment. Media drives for the Majestor are already underway.
Beyond that, MG is also set to introduce the iM6 premium electric SUV and a PHEV SUV based on the Starlight 560 platform in the near future.
