Upcoming 7-seater Cars, Including the Hyundai Alcazar Facelift and 2024 Kia Carnival

Upcoming 7-seater Cars, Including the Hyundai Alcazar Facelift and 2024 Kia Carnival

7-seater cars have always been the preferred choice for larger families in India. As we approach the new year, we've curated a list of the most anticipated 7-seater cars, featuring the revamped Hyundai Alcazar, the 2024 Kia Carnival, and more. These family-centric vehicles offer comfort, aesthetics, and ample space for memorable family outings.

Next-gen Toyota Fortuner

Toyota is set to introduce the new Fortuner seven-seater SUV in the Indian market next year, boasting the new TNGA-F structure to replace the existing IMV platform. The anticipated 48-volt mild hybrid system coupled with a 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine promises improved fuel efficiency.

With cosmetic and functional enhancements on the horizon, the new Fortuner is expected to come with a higher price tag, competing with the likes of MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

While the current Hyundai Alcazar is priced between Rs 16.77 lakh and Rs 21.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the new-generation Alcazar is expected to grace Indian roads in 2024.

Anticipated exterior changes include a redesigned grille, updated headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, fresh alloy wheels, and modified taillamps. Mechanical specifications remain untouched, with the SUV retaining the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engine options.

New Kia Carnival

After its global debut in October, the all-new Kia Carnival is rumored to receive a facelift for the Indian market next year. Boasting a reworked rear bumper, an enlarged tiger-nose grille, L-shaped headlamps, and LED daytime running lights, the updated Carnival is set to make a style statement.

Internationally, three engine configurations will be available, but for India, the expectation is to continue using the current 2.2-litre diesel engine, delivering 200bhp and 440Nm. With anticipated aesthetic and functional upgrades, the Carnival Facelift may hit the Indian market with a starting price of around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom).*
