MG's revised Hector Plus will now come in two different versions with its six-seat configuration.
The goal of the new interior features and touches is to make the cabin more upscale and comfortable.
In India, MG Motor has released new information about the six-seat Hector Plus SUV, indicating that it would be offered in two major trim levels as part of the revised lineup. The corporation released the updated Hector line in December last year, which is when the information was released.
Two Six-Seat Models Available
The Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro models will be available for the revised six-seat Hector Plus. Compared to the ordinary five-seat version, these trims, which are at the upper end of the model range, guarantee that consumers will receive a well-equipped cabin and improved features.
While MG has disclosed costs for various iterations of the revised Hector, the numbers for the six-seat models are anticipated to be finalized and made public shortly.
Hector Plus vehicles, which include both six- and seven-seat options, start at about ₹17.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the newly released facelift, suggesting that the six-seat versions will probably be in a similar price range.
New Features and Improved Comfort
The six-seat arrangement inside adds well-considered details to make lengthy trips more enjoyable for all passengers. The interior of the cabin now has a dual-tone brown colour scheme, giving it a more upscale appearance.
Compared to earlier versions, practical improvements like split-folding third-row seats, third-row fan speed control, and fast-charging USB connections enhance comfort and usability.
The movable second-row seats and separate armrests for each second-row passenger are exclusive to the six-seat models, which improve the feeling of room and convenience over the seven-seat model.
Market Positioning and Powertrain
The revised six-seat Hector Plus is currently only offered with a gasoline engine; MG has confirmed that the cost of the diesel version will be revealed at a later time. This strategy complements the larger Hector offering, which provides a variety of engine and transmission options to accommodate various customer requirements.
With its combination of spaciousness, amenities, and affordability, the updated Hector Plus aims to enhance MG's standing in the competitive SUV market by competing with models like the Hyundai Alcazar and Kia Carens.
