Prices for the next generation of Kia Seltos were released for the Indian market.
A Tata Punch facelift was hinted at prior to debut, and a Hyundai Venue HX5+ model was unveiled.
New Kia Seltos Prices for 2026
The price list for the new generation Seltos in India was released by Kia at the beginning of the year. Depending on the configuration selected, the SUV's ex-showroom costs range from ₹10.99 lakh to ₹19.99 lakh, placing it in a competitive market. The four main trim levels of the redesigned Seltos are HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX. Customers can further customise features and options with extra packages.
Three 1.5-liter engines, a naturally aspirated gasoline engine, a turbocharged gasoline engine, and a diesel unit are available for the Seltos under the hood. These are compatible with a variety of gears, such as six-speed manual, iMT, and automatic choices, including IVT and DCT, providing flexibility for a variety of driving styles.
Hyundai Expands Venue Lineup with the HX5+ Variant
Hyundai has added a new HX5+ model to the Venue family of small SUVs, which retails for ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This offers many additional features over the base HX5 and is positioned between the current HX5 and HX6 models. These include wireless smartphone charging, roof rails, LED headlamps, a rear window sunshade, and useful features like a rear wiper-washer and a driver's armrest with storage.
The new version is a cost-effective option for those looking for a little more style and functionality without going all the way up the range. It is powered by the tried-and-true 1.2-liter petrol engine with a manual gearbox.
A Look at the Tata Punch Facelift Before Its Launch
With official teasers suggesting updated external style and additional colour possibilities, Tata Motors has provided a first glimpse at the redesigned Punch. This facelift, which is scheduled to go on sale on January 13, is the biggest makeover for the model since it was first introduced. It has redesigned wheels and new front and back designs.
In terms of mechanics, Tata is anticipated to stick with the well-known 1.2-liter gasoline engine, which comes with both manual and AMT variants, as well as the twin-cylinder CNG type.
What This Signifies for Purchasers
These developments offer a mix of excitement and options for individuals looking to purchase a new SUV in early 2026. The Venue HX5+ delivers additional value without a significant price increase, the redesigned Punch teases a new style ahead of its official release, and the revised Seltos pricing helps consumers evaluate where it stands versus competitors.
When it launches early next year, the Tata Punch facelift is ready to take on competitors in the sub-4-meter SUV sector thanks to its updated appearance, new powertrain options, and extensive feature set.
