Among its latest models, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is a compact seven-seater MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) manufactured by Maruti Suzuki.

The all-new Ertiga has halogen projector headlamps and 3D Origami Style tail lamps.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is based on the all-new Suzuki Heartect platform, which uses Ultra and Advanced High Tensile steel which lets the car resist deformations guaranteeing safety during a collision.

The Heartect platform creates crumple zones at the front and the back of the vehicle, which keeps the passengers safe. This car has dual front and front-seat side airbags in the top variant.

Along with ESP (electronic stability program), ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD (Electronic brakeforce distribution) and BA (brake assist), Ertiga also comes with an engine immobilizer and hill hold feature, which keeps the car from rolling back when stopped on a slope.

The CNG variant, which also has a displacement of 1462 cc, produces 86.63 brake horsepower at 5500 rpm and a torque of 121.5 Nm at 4200 rpm.

With full acceleration, the car can reach a speed of 165-170 km/hr, which is impressive for a vehicle with 100 horsepower.

It takes 13.9 seconds for this compact MUV to reach a speed of 100 km/hr, while the CNG variant takes 15.5 seconds to achieve the same speed.
