Hyundai adds a brand-new HX5+ model to the Venue portfolio.
The revised trim keeps the cost within ₹10 lakh while adding additional comfort and design elements.
Hyundai Motor India has expanded the appeal of its well-liked Venue compact SUV by launching a new HX5+ variant, which is reasonably priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the 2025 Venue lineup, this new addition stands above the current HX5 and offers a number of appealing features to draw in customers seeking a blend of comfort, style, and affordability without going above ₹10 lakh.
An Upgrade Bumper Compared to the Standard HX5
With a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.2-litre Kappa naturally aspirated petrol engine, the Venue HX5+ maintains the lineup's emphasis on practicality and efficiency. Although buyers are accustomed to this engine option, it sets the HX5+ apart from the base HX5 by adding a more upscale feature set that improves comfort and convenience.
The new model has roof rails and quad-beam LED headlamps on the outside, giving it a more assured presence on the road. These modifications enhance the Venue's tough SUV appearance while also increasing visibility.
Everyday drives are made more enjoyable by useful features including a driver's armrest with storage, a rear window sunshade, and a wireless smartphone charger. Convenience and safety are addressed by the modifications, which also include an auto up-down feature for the driver's power window and a rear wiper and washer.
Enhancements Throughout the Range
In addition to the launch of the HX5+, Hyundai upgraded the HX4 model by adding a height-adjustable driver's seat as standard, enhancing comfort for drivers of different statures. This shows that Hyundai plans to improve even the mid-tier vehicles in response to consumer input.
With its extensive range of models and powertrain options, the new generation Venue has been designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of purchasers. Hyundai's strategic pricing across trims was demonstrated earlier this year when the updated Venue range, which includes petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel options, was introduced with prices starting below ₹8 lakh.
Consumer Preference and Market Strategy
Hyundai gives customers more freedom to select a package that fits their budget while still taking advantage of improved amenities by positioning the HX5+ nicely between the current HX5 and higher trims.
The Venue's position in the fiercely competitive compact SUV market, where value and feature content are important factors influencing purchases, is anticipated to be strengthened by this action.
