Mahindra XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition Launched in India, Rs 29.35 Lakh EV with Luxe Interior

Mahindra has unveiled the new XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, a more luxurious take on its flagship electric SUV that blends premium styling with cutting-edge tech and a long-range 79 kWh battery. Priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom), this special-edition EV boasts unique exterior colours, a richly finished cabin, triple HD displays, and an immersive audio-visual experience. Bookings start on March 02, 2026, with deliveries set to begin from March 10, 2026. This edition aims to raise the bar in India’s EV SUV segment.

  • A luxury-oriented special edition of the Mahindra XEV 9e with exclusive colours, richer cabin styling and upgraded tech.

  • Long-range EV performance with a 79 kWh battery and over 500 km claimed range, bookings open March 02, 2026.

Mahindra has rolled out an exciting new variant of its flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, that aims to blend comfort, style and technology in a premium package. This latest offering from the Indian EV maker sits atop the existing XEV 9e range and appeals to buyers who want a more indulgent electric drive without stepping up to the very highest price brackets.

Price, Booking and Delivery

The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition carries an ex-showroom price of ₹29.35 lakh in India, placing it above the mid-tier variants and slightly below the fully-loaded Pack Three model.

  • Bookings: Open from March 02, 2026

  • Deliveries: Expected to begin from March 10, 2026

  • Positioning: Premium special edition of the XEV 9e EV SUV.

Exclusive Styling & Interior Details

Exterior, Subtle yet Stand-Out

Visually, the Cineluxe Edition doesn’t overhaul the XEV 9e’s design but adds exclusive Satin Black and Satin White finishes that give it a more refined presence on the road. These monotone shades, paired with a bespoke ‘Cineluxe’ badge, set this edition apart from regular trims.

Interior, Lounge-Like Cabin

Step inside, and the luxury feel becomes more pronounced. The SUV sports a Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black smooth-grain leatherette cabin complete with contrast stitching and premium textures that evoke a lounge-like ambience.

  • Triple HD display suite across the dashboard

  • 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos

  • Custom ambient lighting (16m+ hues) and panoramic Infinity Roof

  • Comfort modes like Camp, Keep and PawPal HVAC

  • Safety tech such as StraightAhead VisionX AR head-up display, EyeDentity monitoring, and hands-free parking with Secure360 suite.

Performance & Battery

The Cineluxe Edition is exclusively offered with the larger 79 kWh battery pack, paired to a rear electric motor that delivers a strong blend of performance and efficiency. Mahindra claims a real-world range of over 500 km on a single charge, making this SUV suitable for both city runs and longer journeys.

What It Means for Buyers

With the Cineluxe Edition, Mahindra is clearly targeting EV buyers who crave more than just electric efficiency; they want comfort, tech, and a premium feel without stretching into ultra-luxury pricing.

By combining a rich cabin atmosphere with practical range and technology, this EV SUV looks to stand out in a busy market.
