Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has implemented a price revision for select models in its lineup this March 2025, with the Urban Cruiser Taisor experiencing notable adjustments. The compact SUV, which shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, now costs up to Rs 5,500 more, depending on the variant.
Price Increase Breakdown
The price hike for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor varies across the variant lineup:
S AMT and S+ AMT variants: These automatic transmission variants have received the most substantial price increase of Rs 5,500
All other variants: Every other variant in the lineup has seen a uniform price hike of Rs 500
Following this revision, the Urban Cruiser Taisor is now priced between Rs 7.74 lakh and Rs 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom), maintaining its position in the competitive compact SUV segment.

This price adjustment comes as Toyota Kirloskar Motor realigns its pricing strategy across select models in its portfolio for March 2025. The relatively modest increase for most variants suggests Toyota's intent to maintain the Urban Cruiser Taisor's competitive positioning in the compact SUV segment while adjusting for rising input costs.
For potential buyers who have been considering the Urban Cruiser Taisor, this modest price hike is unlikely to significantly impact the vehicle's value proposition, particularly for the manual transmission variants with their minimal Rs 500 increase.
