Toyota Innova Hycross’ non-hybrid version is finally Launched

Toyota has launched a new top-spec trim of the non-hybrid version of Innova Hycross. It is reported that Toyota Innova Hycross petrol has a new top-spec GX (O) variant, which is priced between Rs 20.99 lakh-21.13 lakh. It is currently available in seven- and eight-seater configurations. When Compared to the previous top-spec Hycross petrol GX variant, the GX (O) will have more features.

Exterior, interior, and Safety features:

The new GX (O) has more exterior features than the current GX model, such as front LED fog lamps and a rear window demister. It has creature amenities including a height-adjustable driver seat, auto-fold ORVMs, and automated climate control with an auto blower for the rear seat. For the interior updates, Soft-touch dashboard material and dual-tone fabric upholstery are standard on the new GX(O) model.

Additionally, the seven-seater version with second-row captain seats includes a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display and retractable sun blinds for the rear windows. The 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and wireless Apple CarPlay are some of the other updated features. Six airbags, a wide rear-view parking camera, and front and rear parking sensors are all part of the GX (O) trim's safety kit.

The color variants in which it is available are Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Super White, and Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic.

Powertrain and Rivals:

A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a peak output of 173 horsepower and 209 Nm of torque will power the new Innova Hycross GX (O) model. It is equipped as standard with a CVT automatic transmission. However, the powerful hybrid models are propelled by a 2.0-liter hybrid gasoline engine that generates 182 horsepower. In this instance, an eCVT automatic transmission that doubles as a starter generator is coupled with the motor.

Although there aren't any direct competitors for Toyota's gasoline-powered MPV, it does face competition from seven-seater SUVs such as the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar. The Maruti Suzuki Invicto, the badge-engineered sister of the hybrid variant, is a competitor, nevertheless.
