Toyota Innova Crysta Prices increased by Rs 26,000

Toyota has revealed it is to increase the prices on its favourite MPV by up to Rs 26,000, the Innova Crysta. This update is made on certain variants, such as VX and ZX line-ups and is part of an ongoing exercise of facelifts on the entire Toyota product line-up in India.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has hiked the prices of its most popular MPV, the Innova Crysta, by up to Rs 26,000 with immediate effect. This price revision is in line with other revisions that have been done on other models in the line-up, such as the Toyota Taisor, Rumion and Innova Hycross. Whereas the hike is restricted to certain models and will be offered along with the general price changes taken by Toyota at the mid of the current year.

The Rs 26,000 increment does work in the VX seven-seater and the eight-seater variants and the ZX top-spec model. Though the features and the engine specifications of the Innova Crysta are unaltered, the new pricing will place the vehicle in a range of prices: the cheapest goes at Rs 19.99 lakh and the most expensive one sells at Rs 27.08 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the variant.

Differential Line Ups and Powertrain

The Innova Crysta is still sold in four base trims: GX, GX +, VX and ZX. The MPV has seen an increase in price, and even with that in place, both the family and fleet buyers are opting to use it because of its reputation for being reliable, comfortable, and spacious.

The foremost aspect of the Crysta is that the 2.4-litre diesel engine is coupled with a five-speed manual gearbox in the Crysta. It is also known to have torquey performance and is also very fuel efficient. This powerhouse has mechanically stayed the same with the toughiness that the Innova lineage is known to possess.

Premium Pricing, Strong Value

The price revision has now slightly positioned the Innova Crysta a notch above the rest in the segment yet it offers great value for money particularly when it is compared to its competition in terms of its build quality, interiors and durability.

Buyers considering an economical and reliable people-mover will not forget the Crysta even with the recent change of prices.

Although the increase in the cost might not augurs well with some people, the stability of after sales service and healthy resale of Toyota equipment makes the Crysta worth its price.
