Skoda Kylaq Launches In India With Five Stunning Color Options

Skoda Kylaq Launches in India with Five Stunning Color Options

Skoda has introduced its most affordable SUV in the Indian market, the Kylaq. This entry-level SUV is designed to compete in the sub-4m segment, featuring a powerful 1-liter turbo-petrol engine and a starting price of just Rs 7.89 lakh.

Offering a balanced mix of style, technology, and safety features, the Kylaq brings a fresh, bold look to Skoda’s lineup. With five unique color options and an attractive design, the Kylaq is already turning heads across the country.

Five Bold Colors for the Skoda Kylaq

The Skoda Kylaq comes in five striking colors that each add a unique touch to its design. These colors includeCarbon Steel, Tornado Red, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, and Olive Gold. While most of these shades are shared with Skoda’s Kushaq model, Olive Gold is exclusive to the Kylaq, giving it an eye-catching, unique flair that’s sure to stand out on the road.

Each color enhances different aspects of the SUV’s style, from sporty to elegant.

Tornado Red is a vibrant choice that emphasizes the Kylaq's sporty appeal, while Carbon Steel, the only dark shade, gives a more premium, muscular look. Brilliant Silver is timeless and sophisticated, adding an elegant touch. Candy White is a classic choice that highlights the SUV’s sharp design, enhancing its sleek black accents.

Finally, Olive Gold, exclusive to the Kylaq, is a unique and fun shade, making it the most distinct color option in the lineup.

Advanced Features for Comfort and Convenience

Inside, the Skoda Kylaq is equipped with high-end features designed for a comfortable and modern driving experience. The SUV includes a 10.1-inch touchscreen, an 8-inch digital driver display, and a single-pane sunroof that brings a luxurious feel to the interior. The front seats are electrically adjustable and ventilated, and there’s also a wireless phone charger and auto AC with rear vents. Additional conveniences include cruise control and a six-way powered driver seat.

Safety remains a priority in the Kylaq, which includes six airbags as standard. Other essential safety features are a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), traction control, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats. These features make the Kylaq a reliable and secure option for families and daily commuters alike.

Performance: Efficient Powertrain for City and Highway

The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1-liter turbo-petrol engine that delivers 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. Drivers can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, allowing flexibility for different driving preferences. This powertrain is designed for efficiency and smooth performance, ideal for both city commutes and highway journeys.

Affordable Pricing and Tough Competition

The Skoda Kylaq is attractively priced, starting at Rs 7.89 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, pan-India). This pricing positions it competitively against other sub-4m SUVs, including the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Hyundai Venue.

Additionally, it offers a great alternative for those considering crossover models like the Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor. With a blend of affordable pricing and premium features, the Kylaq aims to carve out a space in India’s popular SUV segment.

Hence, The Skoda Kylaq is a welcome addition to the Indian market, offering style, functionality, and affordability in a compact SUV. With five color options, a feature-packed interior, and a solid safety suite, the Kylaq stands as an appealing choice for budget-conscious SUV enthusiasts. As Skoda’s entry into the sub-4m segment, the Kylaq has the potential to capture a significant share of the market, competing closely with its rivals.
