Tata Motors has officially started accepting bookings for the 2025 Altroz facelift. The popular premium hatchback now sports a sharper look, a more modern interior, and a raft of added features, all while continuing to offer petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrain choices.
We can see prices begin at just Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for buyers seeking value, safety, and versatility.
Design & Exterior Upgrades
On the outside, the new Altroz facelift stands out with a redesigned front bumper that integrates a blacked-out grille and sleeker LED headlamps.
The flush-type door handles give the car a cleaner side profile, and the 16-inch alloy wheels introduced on select variants add a sporty flair. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps and a subtly tweaked bumper create a cohesive, modern look.
These cosmetic upgrades ensure the Altroz remains competitive against rivals like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno.
Cabin & Features
Step inside, and you’ll find a refreshed cabin featuring a new dual-tone upholstery scheme that elevates the perceived quality.
The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system returns with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, plus connected-car technology for real-time vehicle data and remote controls via a smartphone app.
Tata has also added a 360-degree camera system, which offers all-around visibility, especially useful in tight parking spots.
A segment-first 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster now includes map display functionality, allowing drivers to glance at navigation cues without shifting focus to the central screen.
Additional creature comforts include a single-pane sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, a wireless phone charger, an eight-speaker Harman sound system, and cruise control. In terms of safety, six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), and rear parking sensors remain standard across all variants. Higher-spec trims gain a tyre-pressure monitoring system and the aforementioned 360-degree camera.
Engine & Performance
Under the bonnet, Tata continues with its tried-and-tested engine lineup. It comes with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 88 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque, available with a 5-speed manual, a newly added 5-speed AMT, or a 6-speed DCT.
There's also a 1.2-litre petrol + CNG variant that delivers 73.5 PS of power and 103 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
For those preferring diesel, Tata offers a 1.5-litre engine that generates 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
