Prices of Toyota Taisor and Crysta Raised in August, 2025

Toyota has now corrected the price of two of its most famous products, the Urban Cruiser Taisor and the Innova Crysta. The Taisor enjoys a consistent price increase in all the trims, whereas the Crysta increases in the higher trims. As follows is a breakdown of how much more you will be paying now in August 2025.

taisor

Toyota has initiated yet another price community in August 2025, which happens to be two of its successful models, namely Urban Cruiser Taisor and Innova Crysta.

Where the Taisor will be getting a hike of Rs 3000 all around the variants, Innova Crysta will be getting a higher price hike of Rs 26000 only on the top spec VX MT and ZX MT variants. With this revision, there are no cosmetic or mechanical changes.

Toyota Taisor: Small Increase in all Variants

The sub-4m crossover that is also based on the same platform as the Maruti Fronx remains a good value buy even with the increase. The Taisor is powered by three engine variants: 1.2-litre NA gasoline, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and the 1.2-litre gasoline + CNG, which makes the vehicle a practical prospect to urban dwellers.

The base E MT is Rs 3,000 more expensive, all the way up to the top-loaded full V AT. As an example, the V AT has gone up to Rs 12.91 lakh (previously Rs 12.88 lakh), and the CNG-powered version of the E MT variant has been increased to Rs 8.75 lakh. Even after the increase, the features or design of the Taisor has not been changed.

Toyota Innova Crysta: Higher Trims Get Costlier

The price increase is more apt in the Innova Crysta, the rugged and reliable MPV that Toyota is well known for. The VX or ZX versions which are in 7-seater and 8-seater variants have gone up by Rs 26,000. For example, the cost of the ZX MT model has increased to Rs 27.08 lakh as compared to Rs 23.26 lakh before whereas the VX MT version has risen to Rs 25.40 lakh compared to previous Rs 23.09 lakh.

The Crysta carries the same 2.4-litre, diesel power plant that comes with 150 PS and 343 Nm of torque along with 5-speed manual and rear-wheel driven power train under the hood. Similar to the Taisor, mechanical and feature upgrades have not been added to go along with the price increase.

Competitors are on Notice

Whereas, the Taisor competes with Maruti Fronx, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and others in the sub-4m SUV segments, the Innova Crysta competes with not only Maruti Invicto and Toyota Hycross, but also even Kia Carens in the premium MPV segment.

This price update is marginal but can affect the budget-sensitive consumers. Nevertheless, the credible brand confidence and the worth of products of Toyota still maintains the two models as tough competitors in their fixations.
