Nissan's latest seven-seater MPV, the Gravite, has been introduced to the Indian market with alleged fuel economy numbers.
The MPV is a sub-4-meter vehicle that combines affordable pricing with useful features.
With its official launch, Nissan India has positioned the Gravite MPV as one of the most reasonably priced seven-seater vehicles available in the nation. This new vehicle, which is based on the same fundamental platform as another small MPV, combines practical features, effective performance, and a family-friendly design.
Considering that the starting prices are approximately ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), it is an alluring choice for consumers on a tight budget.
Mileage and Powertrain Specifications
Fuel efficiency is one of the main talking points regarding the Nissan Gravite. In the models that have been released thus far, a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated gasoline engine under the hood generates about 71 horsepower and 96 Nm of torque. Either Nissan's EZ-Shift AMT gearbox or a five-speed manual transmission can be used with this engine.
According to the manufacturer, the manual version achieves 19.3 km/l, while the automatic AMT version achieves 19.6 km/l, which is marginally better. The Gravite is one of the more economical people-movers in its class based on these numbers, which might reduce operating expenses for long family vacations and daily commutes.
Features & Comfort in the Interior
The Gravite's interior features a three-row seating arrangement that can be adjusted to accommodate passengers or luggage needs, thanks to its detachable and foldable rear seats.
A seven-inch digital instrument cluster, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and comfort-enhancing features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear air vents, and ambient lighting are all included in the cabin.
It has a unique appearance in this market thanks to its updated front grille, LED illumination, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Its feature set and adaptable interiors are designed to appeal to both daily commuters and families.
Variants and Safety
Five variants of the Gravite are available, each with varying degrees of equipment to accommodate a range of tastes. It has basic safety equipment, including stability controls, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with EBD, and six airbags, which are necessary for family-friendly cars.
Nissan has stated that a factory-fitted CNG model is scheduled for availability in the future in addition to gasoline versions, which could increase its appeal to budget-conscious consumers.
What Sets Gravite Apart
The Nissan Gravite is a sensible option for those looking for a family-friendly MPV without going over budget because of its claimed fuel efficiency of nearly 20 km/l, reasonable price tag, and adjustable seating configurations. Its introduction gives consumers another cost-effective choice to think about and introduces new competition to the small MPV market.
