Maruti Suzuki Eeco Star Edition Accessory Pack Introduced at Rs. 19,999

Maruti Suzuki has rolled out a new Star Edition accessory pack for the ever-dependable Eeco people mover, bringing a bundle of 18 cosmetic and comfort upgrades to two of its popular AC variants. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the package has been significantly reduced from its earlier tag of Rs. 37,000, making it an accessible way for buyers to dress up this utilitarian workhorse without breaking the bank.

  • The Star Edition is an optional accessory pack for the Eeco, not a new standalone variant.

  • The package covers 18 cosmetic and comfort additions priced at Rs. 19,999, separate from the car's ex-showroom price.

The Maruti Suzuki Eeco has long been celebrated for doing the sensible, unglamorous things well. It hauls families, serves as a workhorse for small businesses, and does all of this without fuss. It has never really been about kerb appeal.

That, however, is precisely what Maruti Suzuki is looking to address with the newly introduced Star Edition package, a bundle of accessories designed to give the Eeco a more polished presence both inside and out.

What the Star Edition Package Offers

To be clear from the outset, the Star Edition is not a new trim level or a separate variant. It is an optional accessory pack that buyers can choose to add to their Eeco purchase. Maruti Suzuki has restricted its availability to two specific configurations within the range, namely the five-seater AC variant and the five-seater AC CNG variant.

The package brings 18 accessories in total, split across the exterior and the cabin. On the outside, buyers get a rear spoiler, fog lamps with garnish, wheel covers, door visors, mud flaps, and chrome badging.

Maruti Suzuki is also offering body-coloured bumpers as part of the deal, available in two finish options, Metallic Glistening Grey and Metallic Brisk Blue. It is a thoughtful set of additions that moves the Eeco away from its strictly utilitarian appearance without trying to make it something it is not.

Cabin Upgrades Included in the Pack

Inside, the Star Edition brings an interior styling kit along with new seat covers. These additions are aimed squarely at improving the feel of the cabin, which has traditionally been a fairly plain space. It will not transform the Eeco into a luxury people mover, but the touches should make daily use a noticeably more pleasant experience.

A Significant Price Reduction Makes It an Attractive Proposition

Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of the Star Edition package is what Maruti Suzuki has done with its pricing. The package was previously offered at Rs. 37,000, a figure that may have given potential buyers pause. It has now been brought down sharply to Rs. 19,999, which is charged over and above the ex-showroom price of the car.

With the standard Eeco starting at Rs. 5.21 lakh ex-showroom, the Star Edition pack adds a relatively modest sum for a meaningful visual and comfort upgrade. For buyers who already had their eye on the Eeco but wanted a slightly more presentable version, this revised pricing makes the decision a good deal easier.

The Eeco Continues to Hold Its Ground as a Practical Choice

The Eeco remains one of Maruti Suzuki's most versatile products on the Indian market. It is offered in both passenger and cargo versions and is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with a CNG option also available for those keen on running costs.

The Star Edition pack does not change any of that. What it does is offer buyers a straightforward route to a more appealing Eeco, without the need to hunt through aftermarket catalogues or deal with fitment uncertainty.
