Mahindra has announced the milestone of delivering 3000 units of the newest electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e. The announcement came just after about two weeks from the start of customer deliveries. The company, however, said that among the two models, customer booking trends suggest that the XEV 9e is the one people are favouring over the BE 6.
Buyer Preferences
Mahindra Electric Vehicles have been in the limelight ever since their introduction in the Indian market, and this reflects on the sales of approximately 3000 units sold and delivered within a limited time frame.
Per the booking trends, the XEV 9e is the choice of 59 percent of buyers, while 41 percent chose the BE 6, in all its quirkiness.
In fact, for both electric SUVs, mainly buyers chose the fully loaded top-spec Pack 3 variant, the brand stated. Mahindra also stated that waiting periods of around six months apply to both models since they ramp up production for quicker deliveries.
