Is Mg Hector Style Better Or The Mahindra Xuv700 Mx 5 Seater Lets Find Out

Is MG Hector Style better or the Mahindra XUV700 MX 5-seater? Let’s find out

When contrasting the dimensions, powertrain, and features of the Mahindra XUV700 MX 5-seater Petrol and the MG Hector Style Petrol, both priced at Rs 13.99 lakh, it becomes clear that each vehicle has something special to offer in the mid-size SUV market.

With proportions that are 40 mm longer and 55 mm wider, respectively, the Mahindra XUV700 is larger than the MG Hector. On the other hand, the Hector is 5 mm taller, and both SUVs have the same 2750mm wheelbase.

According to the powertrain specs, the XUV700 has a larger 2-liter turbo-petrol engine that produces 200 PS of power and 380 Nm of torque. Both variants have turbocharged petrol engines with 6-speed manual gearboxes. The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine of the Hector, in contrast, produces 250 Nm of torque and 143 PS of power.

The touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto gives the XUV700 MX variant a feature advantage by improving connectivity and providing more entertainment options for the passengers. However, the Hector has a rear wiper and washer, which improves rear visibility. The XUV700 MX model does not have this feature.

Basic safety and comfort amenities like electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual front airbags, electronic stability control, and all-wheel disc brakes are the same across both SUVs. Still, the Hector is more useful in bad weather because it is equipped with a rear wiper and defroster as well.

Overall, with its improved infotainment system, the Mahindra XUV700's MX 5-seater petrol edition offers more value in terms of engine output and technical amenities. However, the Style version of the MG Hector adds more convenience features that prioritize functionality and rear visibility.

The two SUVs' respective engine outputs, technical features, and useful functionalities might influence your decision. The XUV700's sophisticated infotainment system makes a strong argument, but Hector's emphasis on useful amenities like the rear wiper and defogger might appeal to people who value functionality above everything else.

In the end, each SUV has unique benefits, and the best choice will rely on personal tastes for power, technology, and overall driving enjoyment.
