Hyundai’s CVT Version of Verna is back in India!

For a few Verna sedan iVT models, Hyundai India has released a recall notice. Owners of the impacted batch of vehicles have begun receiving notifications for an error inspection and correction. The automaker claims that the recall is necessary to assess and correct a potential problem with the electronic oil pump controller. This recall highlights Hyundai's dedication to maintaining high standards in the production of its cars and emphasizes the brand's commitment to ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.

CVT Recall Details:

Hyundai has sent out a recall notice that is specifically directed at owners of Verna sedans with CVT gearboxes. It is recommended that these owners make an appointment for an inspection at the closest Hyundai-approved dealership so that the EOP controller can be evaluated and, if needed, replaced. Hyundai's free provision of this service demonstrates its dedication to the security and happiness of its customers.

In response to Hyundai's recall, the auto industry is emphasizing the need for early action to mitigate potential safety risks. The need for these steps to ensure and uphold high standards for vehicle safety is further demonstrated by Kia India's recent recall of Seltos SUVs because of a related issue. These recalls demonstrate the manufacturers' commitment to prioritizing the safety and satisfaction of their consumers.

Specifications:

There are four versions of the Hyundai Verna, which was introduced in March 2023: EX, S, SX, and SX (O). For the sedan, there are two 1.5-litre gasoline engines available: a turbocharged version and a naturally aspirated version. These engines come with a range of gearbox options, including a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic, seven-speed DCT, and iVT/CVT. At a starting ex-showroom price of 11 lakh rupees, the Verna is still a well-liked option for mid-size sedans.

Hyundai has shown through the preventive recall of the Verna vehicle that customer satisfaction and safety are its top priorities. Owners of the impacted models are urged to get in touch with their local Hyundai dealership as soon as possible to arrange for the necessary, free service. This recall demonstrates Hyundai's dedication to upholding tight safety regulations and ensuring the peace of mind of its customers.
