The Creta Summer Edition spans six variant grades, each gaining distinct feature additions over the standard lineup
All variants continue with the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic gearboxes
Hyundai has wasted no time getting the summer season started. The carmaker has officially launched the Creta Summer Edition in India, introducing a set of feature upgrades across select variants of its wildly popular compact SUV.
Prices run from Rs. 12.05 lakh to Rs. 17.88 lakh, ex-showroom, depending on the variant and powertrain combination chosen.
What Changes at Each Variant Level
EX Summer Edition – A Smart Entry Point
The base EX Summer Edition is the most accessible of the lot and gains smart key functionality along with push-button start. It is priced at Rs. 12.05 lakh for the petrol manual and Rs. 13.61 lakh for the diesel manual, both ex-showroom.
EX(O) Summer Edition – More Kit, More Character
Step up to the EX(O) trim and the additions become noticeably more substantial. This variant picks up quad-beam LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, daytime running lights, a rear camera, and a rear sunshade, on top of the smart key and push-button start carried over from the EX.
Prices for this grade span Rs. 13.13 lakh to Rs. 16.04 lakh, ex-showroom, across engine and gearbox options.
S(O) and S(O) Knight Summer Editions and Dashcam Joins the Party
Both the S(O) and S(O) Knight variants receive a dash camera as their headline addition for the Summer Edition. The S(O) is priced between Rs. 14.19 lakh and Rs. 17.25 lakh, while the S(O) Knight is offered at Rs. 14.38 lakh for the petrol manual and Rs. 15.99 lakh for the diesel manual, ex-showroom.
SX Summer Edition, Where A Digital Instrument Cluster Steps In
The SX Summer Edition raises the game inside the cabin, pairing a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with the dash camera. This variant is priced at Rs. 15.03 lakh (petrol manual), ex-showroom.
SX Premium Summer Edition with The Most Comprehensive Package
At the top of the Summer Edition hierarchy sits the SX Premium. Alongside the 10.25-inch digital cluster, it adds a surround view monitor, a blind-spot view monitor, and front parking sensors, a genuinely useful package for urban driving.
Prices for this variant range from Rs. 16.33 lakh to Rs. 17.88 lakh, ex-showroom.
Powertrain Options Stay Unchanged
Across all Summer Edition variants, Hyundai continues to offer the familiar 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine choices, each available with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. No mechanical changes have been made; the upgrades here are purely about added convenience and technology.
