Hyundai Creta Electric Knight Edition Launched at Rs 21.45 Lakh

Hyundai has expanded its popular Knight Edition range to the Creta Electric, launched at Rs. 21.45 lakh. Available with both 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs, this edition brings a new matte black colour, dark-themed exterior elements, and exclusive brass-accented interiors, adding a sportier appeal to the all-electric SUV.

Having observed that its Knight Edition models were in great demand, selling over 77,000 units, Hyundai Motor India has now applied this special edition to its own much-loved electric SUV, the Creta Electric.

Introduced in tandem with the i20 and Alcazar Knight Editions, the Creta Electric Knight Edition is aimed at attracting a buyer who values an aggressive design and exclusivity.

Pricing and Variants

The Hyundai Creta Electric Knight Edition is also based on the Excellence version and is available with both the battery packs—42kWh and 51.4kWh. The electric SUV is priced at Rs. 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a high price in the segment and makes it a high-end option. This pricing strategy positions it in an affordable segment of the market where customers are looking at an EV with a compelling presence and features.

Unique Exterior Improvements

The addition of a Matte Black colour scheme, which is becoming a more and more popular colour in the Indian market, is the most notable highlight of the Knight Edition.

To match the new paintwork are black alloy wheels and red brake callipers, black painted front and rear skid plates, roof rails, side sills, door mirrors and a rear spoiler.

An exclusive Knight badge and matte black Hyundai logo also distinguish the SUV compared to the standard one.

Dark Interior with Brass

Enter the cabin, and it adopts a more sporty theme of all black, complemented by brass inlays on the dashboard and panels. The seats are upholstered in black material with highlights of brass, which continues the Knight Edition theme of combining luxury and athleticism.

Conclusion

The Hyundai Creta Electric Knight Edition, with its combination of luxury design changes, a new matte black paint, and the option of two battery packs, also reinforces Hyundai in the EV market. It is priced at Rs. 21.45 lakh, which is a high-end but trendy upgrade to customers seeking performance with a flashy image.
