Citroen Aircross X Prices Hiked by Up to 45,000 for Select Variants

While Citroen continues to position itself as a value-driven European brand, the recent price realignment reflects the industry-wide trend of rising manufacturing costs. This adjustment specifically targets the feature-loaded turbo-petrol trims, ensuring the brand can maintain its premium cabin upgrades while keeping the entry-level variants accessible for budget-conscious families.

  • Citroen India has increased the prices of multiple Aircross X variants by up to ₹45,000, effective immediately.

  • The updated price range for the Aircross X now begins at ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to around ₹14.14 lakh.

Citroen India has revised the prices of its popular midsize SUV, the Aircross X, on several variants across the lineup. The move - likely aimed at balancing rising costs and aligning with current market conditions - comes as the SUV continues to attract buyers with its blend of design, practicality and value in the competitive segment.

What’s New in Pricing?

According to the latest update, the price increases vary by variant:

  • Top-end variants such as the 1.2 Turbo MT Max 7S (single-tone and dual-tone) and the 1.2 Turbo AT Max 7S (single-tone and dual-tone) have seen the maximum hike of ₹45,000.

  • Other trims, including the 1.2 MT You 5S, 1.2 MT Plus 5S and 1.2 Turbo MT Plus 7S, have received an upward revision of ₹20,000 each.

Feature and Value Context

Beyond price, the Aircross X offers a safety package that includes six airbags, ESP with hill-hold assist, ABS with EBD, and passive safety elements like a high-strength body structure - contributing to its positive safety perception.

Its roomy cabin, good ride comfort and distinct styling (including rugged stance, dual-tone colour options and comfortable seating) have helped it gain traction with Indian SUV buyers.

What Buyers Should Know

For buyers considering a new purchase or planning to trade in/up, the revised pricing means evaluating feature priorities against the updated cost. While the increases are modest compared to segment rivals, they still affect the total on-road price - especially for automatic and top-end variants.

Given the competitive midsize SUV market in India, the Aircross X’s price adjustment is likely a strategic move to maintain profitability while keeping the model relevant in value-conscious segments.
