2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift Gets Major Updates

Mahindra’s upcoming Scorpio N update is set to focus on modernising the cabin, as new spy shots point to a more tech-forward interior. With exterior changes kept minimal, the facelift aims to enhance everyday usability while retaining the SUV’s rugged character in a highly competitive segment.

  • The upcoming facelift will feature a larger 10.2-inch infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital driver’s display.

  • Exterior changes are subtle, but the SUV retains its muscular stance with updated 18-inch alloy wheels and expected minor styling tweaks.

Mahindra is preparing a mid-cycle refresh for its popular Scorpio N, with the facelifted version expected to arrive in early 2026. Recent spy shots reveal that the focus is firmly on interior upgrades, while exterior changes remain subtle to preserve the SUV’s rugged identity.

Interior: The Center of Attention

The Scorpio N facelift brings meaningful upgrades inside the cabin, likely led by a larger floating touchscreen (expected around 10.2 inches) replacing the current 8-inch unit, paired with a fully digital driver’s display in place of analogue dials.

The redesigned centre console slots the AC vents below the screen in a layout inspired by the Thar Roxx, while subtle silver accents aim to lift the cabin ambience. Seating configurations are expected to continue with 6- and 7-seat options.

Exterior Updates

On the outside, the facelift retains the Scorpio N’s bold stance, with the most noticeable change being a new 18-inch alloy wheel design. Minor tweaks to the grille, bumpers and tail-lamp detailing are expected, while the LED headlamps and muscular proportions stay unchanged.

Mechanicals: Powertrains to Carry On

Under the hood, the facelift is expected to continue with the existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, offered with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. Select diesel variants are likely to retain the 4×4 setup.

With a likely launch in early 2026, the Scorpio N facelift aims to keep Mahindra’s flagship SUV competitive against rivals like the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus. These updates - especially the technology and interior upgrades - could help the Scorpio N retain its appeal among buyers looking for a family-friendly SUV with rugged capability and modern features.
