2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift Unveils Striking Exterior: Comprehensive Preview

Hyundai is set to make waves with the imminent launch of the 2024 Creta facelift, scheduled for January 16. Riding on the star power of Bollywood icons Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, Hyundai is creating a buzz through aggressive promotions on social media and television. Ahead of its highly anticipated debut, leaked spy shots have surfaced, providing a detailed look at the SUV's updated exterior.

Exterior Transformation:

The 2024 Creta facelift undergoes significant updates in alignment with Hyundai's global design language of 'Sensuous Sportiness.' The redesigned front boasts a parametric jewel-themed grille, accompanied by new horizon LED positioning lamps, DRLs, and quad-beam LED headlamps. The front bumper receives a bold redesign with a faux skid plate, adding to the SUV's robust appearance.

Moving to the rear, a redesigned tailgate features connected tail lights housing H-shaped LED elements, creating a distinctive visual impact. The rear bumper is equally refreshed, incorporating a muscular bash plate for a rugged aesthetic. Additional exterior highlights include a shark fin antenna, roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper, and a brake lamp atop the vehicle.

Colour Options and Trims:

Hyundai offers the new Creta in seven trims: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O). The colour palette includes six mono-tone options and one dual-tone variant, featuring shades like Robust Emerald Pearl (new), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey, and Atlas White with Black Roof.

Interior and Feature Upgrades:

Inside, the facelifted Creta showcases a revamped cabin with a redesigned dashboard layout hosting a twin-screen setup for the touchscreen infotainment and a fully digital instrument console. The air-con vents and HVAC controls feature a fresh design, complemented by a new touch panel. The cabin adopts a dual-tone theme with beige and black shades, providing a sophisticated and modern ambience.

Hyundai has introduced an array of new features, including ventilated front seats, a 360-degree parking camera, and Level 2 ADAS active safety features. The updated BlueLink App now offers 70 connected car features, enhancing connectivity and convenience.

Powerful Performance Options:

The 2024 Creta facelift offers three engine options—a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel, and a 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol. The power figures range from the 1.5L NA petrol unit delivering 114 bhp and 144 Nm of torque to the diesel variant with 114 bhp and 250 Nm. The 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, replacing the 1.4L turbo, generates an impressive 158 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, a CVT automatic, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a six-speed clutchless manual.

With these exciting updates, Hyundai's 2024 Creta facelift promises to make a strong statement in the competitive SUV segment. Stay tuned for its official debut and a closer look at its dynamic features and performance capabilities.
