10 new cars and SUVs that can launch in India by 2025 end

The Indian car market is all set to have an action-packed festive season with 10 of its upcoming models scheduled to be launched between August and December 2025. With compact SUVs, sedan flagship models and electric cars, the Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, Volkswagen, Renault, MG and VinFast brands will have to make an impression.

The Indian car market has been on a high in terms of new launches since 2025, and it is not stopping soon. In the next four months, 10 new cars and SUVs will be launched in the market, mainly coinciding with the festivals.

Renault Kiger Facelift -August 2025

The facelifted Renault Kiger is all set to make an entry in India on 24 August. Minor styling enhancements and interior upgrading and safety kit should be expected, as will new 1.0-litre petrol versions and an optional CNG model. Prices will be relatively higher, going between Rs 6.15-11.23 lakh.

VinFast VF 6 and VF 7 - August 2025

Vietnamese brand VinFast will offer its first locally produced EVs in India, the VF 6 and VF 7, which are also produced in Tamil Nadu. The SUVs will carry up to 450 km range and a price tag of Rs 25 lakh (VF6) and Rs 50 lakh (VF7).

Maruti Victoris - September 2025

A new five-seater SUV, Maruti Victoris, is set to arrive on 3 September. Expected to introduce Level-2 ADAS in this segment, it is anticipated to share engines with the Grand Vitara as well, with petrol, hybrid, and CNG driveline alternatives. Prices will be in the range of Rs 9-16 lakh.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV – September 2025

The upcoming Mahindra 3XO EV will be offered with two battery options — a 34.5 kWh unit delivering an estimated range of around 359 km, and a larger 39.4 kWh pack capable of providing approximately 456 km on a single charge. The SUV is expected to launch at a price range of ₹15–20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Ioniq 5 2026 Facelift - September 2025

The revised Ioniq 5 features a more athletic design and also continues the current 84kWh battery pack with a range of 515km. There will be a moderate increase in price over the current Rs 46 lakh price tag.

Hyundai Venue (Next-Gen) - October 2025

The next-gen Venue will go on sale on 24 October, and as part of its refresh, will have Alcazar-inspired styling as well as incorporate Creta-like features, but not including powertrains. Prices will also increase in comparison with the existing range of Rs. 7.94 - 13.62 lakh.

Volkswagen Tayron- October 2025

Volkswagen is also going to introduce a seven-seater SUV, called the Tayron (will cost around Rs. 49-50 lakh). Made out of CKD kits, it will sport a 2.0 turbo-petrol engine and even a DCT gearbox.

Majestor - October 2025

The MG Majestor is set to become MG Motor’s new flagship SUV in India. It will be the brand’s third model to be retailed exclusively through MG Select dealerships, joining the Cyberster and M9.

Positioned in the full-size SUV segment, the Majestor takes styling cues from the international Maxus D90. Under the hood, it will feature a 2.0-litre twin-turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, 4WD system, and a triple locking differential for enhanced off-road capability.

Expected to be priced between ₹40–46 lakh, the Majestor will bring a bold new option to the premium SUV market.

Tata Punch Facelift -late 2025

Lastly, Tata will refresh the Punch with minor revisions to the exterior design, but it will continue to sell its 1.2-litre petrol and CNG versions. Prices would be at the prevailing or rather near it of Rs 6.20-10.32 lakh.
