Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Adds India's First Aston Martin DB12 to His Exotic Car Collection

Deepinder Goyal, the CEO of popular food delivery app Zomato, has recently made headlines in the automotive world by acquiring India's inaugural Aston Martin DB12. Priced at Rs 4.59 crore, ex-showroom, the DB12 is Aston Martin's flagship grand tourer, boasting an exclusive clientele.

Goyal's DB12 sports a striking Satin Aston Martin Racing Green hue, distinguishing it from the crowd. This acquisition sheds light on Goyal's penchant for luxury automobiles, as his garage already houses an impressive collection of high-performance vehicles.

The Aston Martin DB12, a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the DB11, features a host of enhancements. With 80 per cent of the car revamped, it maintains the iconic silhouette while showcasing an updated grille. Inside, the car boasts a modernised interior with a central touchscreen infotainment system, a new dash, and premium finishes.

Under the hood, the DB12 roars to life with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering a staggering 570bhp and 800Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed gearbox, the car accelerates from 0 to 100kmph in a mere 3.5 seconds, offering an exhilarating driving experience.

Notably, the Aston Martin DB12 joins Goyal's esteemed collection, which includes a Porsche 911 Turbo S, Ferrari Roma, and Lamborghini Urus. Each vehicle epitomises luxury and performance, reflecting Goyal's discerning taste in automobiles.

Goyal's Porsche 911 Turbo S, priced at Rs 3.35 crore, ex-showroom, boasts a 3.7-litre flat-six engine generating 641bhp and 800Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Ferrari Roma, valued at Rs 3.76 crore, ex-showroom, is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 611bhp and 760Nm of torque.

Completing his collection is the Lamborghini Urus, a popular SUV among celebrities and enthusiasts alike. Priced at Rs 4.18 crore, the Urus houses a formidable 4.0-litre V8 engine, churning out 657bhp and 850Nm of torque.

Goyal's acquisition of the Aston Martin DB12 underscores his affinity for automotive excellence, cementing his status as a connoisseur of luxury and performance vehicles in India's elite circles.
