Volvo has teased the EM90 EV MPV ahead of its global debut on November 12th and is targeted at the Chinese market. The MPV is likely to borrow design cues and even powertrain from the Zeeker’s 009.
The 009 is based on the Geely Group SEA platform which is also used by the Volvo EX30.
The 009 uses a 140 kWh battery that provides a claimed driving range of 817 km. The battery is coupled with a twin-motor setup that produces 535 bhp of power.
The company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 4.5 seconds and it weighs around 3,000 kg.
The image shows a huge panoramic sunroof on offer, and other features could include multi-zone climate control, powered seats with memory function, multiple touchscreen infotainment screens for the passengers, fully digital driver dash, retractable table, rear AC vents, wireless charging pad, multiple Type-C ports and ambient lighting to name a few.
