Volkswagen Virtus GT Line gets Flash Red Colour; Reaches Dealers

Volkswagen India has introduced an aggressive, sporty Flash Red color variant to the Virtus GT Line, adding to its sporty color. The new version comes in black color highlights and can be had with either a manual or automatic transmission, with the same 1.0-litre TSI petrol unit and the same prices as before.

Volkswagen Virtus GT Line gets Flash Red Colour; Reaches Dealers.webp

Volkswagen India has issued a new visual update on the Virtus GT Line in their new Flash Red colour. The sleek new colour was first announced earlier this week, along with the Taigun and has already begun to appear on local dealership floors, indicating that customer car deliveries are very near.

Flares red collides with Gloss black accents

The contrast gloss black surrounding the car accents the Flash Red with GT Line paintwork, showing off even more of the sporty credentials of this car.

Such audacious design makes the Virtus even more eye-catching in the luxury medium-size sedan segment. The colour will be added to the current Virtus palette, but only the GT Line trim will have this colour.

Still the same prices

Volkswagen has maintained the same prices for the Flash Red GT Line. Customers will have options of a manual in the price range of Rs. 14.08 lakh and a six-speed torque converter automatic at Rs. 15.18 lakh (ex-showroom). This implies that customers are able to have a change of look without paying a premium.

Same Powertrain and Performance

The flash red Virtus is mechanically no different from other GT Line models. Driving is with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, TSI turbo-petrol power output of 114bhp and 178Nm of torque.

The engine will be available with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox and will deliver the same zippy performance as has been popular among Virtus owners.

Volkswagen’s Broader Strategy

This is the launch of a new colour that the car manufacturer Volkswagen India continues to keep its lineup fresh and pleasing. This aesthetic enhancement on the GT line, which is the sportiest of the Virtus lineups, comes without altering its mechanical components.

Interestingly, the brand has also been seen testing the facelifted Taigun, with all the possibilities that more updates are likely to be brought forth in the following months.

At the moment, the flash red Virtus GT Line is an ideal combination of style, performance and exclusivity.
