Toyota Century SUV Teased; Global Debut On September 6th
The Toyota Century was first introduced in 1967 and was a sedan at the time of introduction. The upcoming Century SUV is based on the monocoque chassis that is shared with the Toyota Grand Highlander SUV.
Toyota Century Exterior
The exterior features could include sleek LED headlamp units, a prominent grille with chrome accents, angular finishes across the body, strong lines on the bonnet and the body, and horizontal tail lamps. The SUV could be around 5.2 meters long and might have three rows of seats.
Toyota Century Engine Specs
The Century SUV is likely to use the same powertrain that does duty in the Highlander SUV. It is a hybrid unit that includes a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine coupled with twin electric motors that produces 241 bhp. We can also expect a 2.4-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol unit mated to an electric motor that makes 360 bhp of power.
Toyota Century Interior
The interior features could include a multi-zone climate control, plush upholstery, a sizable touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver dash, 2-row and 3-row seating layout, folding front passenger seat, adjustable headrests, and infotainment unit for the rear row passengers to name a few.
