Top Tata passenger vehicles that are expected in 2024

Tata Motors has been rapidly expanding over the last few years. Tata Motors redesigned its product lineup with several new launches since the company's Nexon was unveiled in 2017 and is still doing so. The Punch EV was introduced by the Indian automaker to mark the beginning of its 2024 journey. However, some of the upcoming lineups would be another big game changer for TATA motors. Let’s find out more about it.

The Upcoming Lineup

1. Tata Curvv

Tata Motors plans to introduce the Tata Curvv, an SUV, in India in 2024. The EV version will have an all-electric drivetrain, while the ICE version is anticipated to be powered by a new 1.2-liter T-GDi (turbo) petrol engine. To provide a smooth driving experience, the ICE version is probably going to be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT). It is anticipated that the Curvv will have cutting-edge features like push-button start/stop, touch-enabled climate control, a panoramic glass roof, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and ventilated seats.

Advanced driver assistance systems, ISOFIX child seat anchors, 360-degree cameras, and front and rear parking sensors are just a few of the cutting-edge safety features that are anticipated to be available (ADAS). The Curvv's ICE version is anticipated to start at Rs. 10.50 lakh, while the EV version is predicted to cost between Rs. 15.00 and 20.00 lakh.

In 2024, Tata Motors plans to launch the CNG AMT versions of the Tiago and Tigor, giving consumers the cost-effectiveness of CNG fuel along with the convenience of an automatic gearbox. The CNG versions will only have a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) and a lower output of 73.5 horsepower and 95 Nm.

Tata's twin-cylinder CNG technology, which splits the CNG tank into two and lowers it to free up more boot space, is anticipated to be available on the Tiago and Tigor CNG AMT models. The Tiago CNG AMT is available in the XTA, XZA+, and XZA NRG variants. The CNG AMT variants are expected to launch at the end of the month.

The eco-friendly and efficient Tata Nexon CNG, which promises a fusion of power and efficiency, is scheduled for release by Tata Motors. The Tata Nexon CNG is expected to go on sale on June 28, 2024, and it will likely cost between ₹8,00,000 and ₹11,00,000. The Nexon CNG is anticipated to be the first turbocharged vehicle in India to come with a CNG drivetrain. It will be outfitted with Tata's cutting-edge twin CNG cylinder technology, which combines two 3-liter tanks to balance efficiency and performance.

It is anticipated that the upcoming Tata Nexon CNG will come equipped with cutting-edge features that are tailored to meet the demands of contemporary drivers, such as occupant protection and a sense of security under varied driving circumstances.

With the launch of the Nexon CNG, Tata Motors is demonstrating its dedication to providing a wide selection of highly advanced and fuel-efficient cars to meet the changing demands of the Indian market.

Tata Motors' strategic focus on electric and CNG vehicles demonstrates the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation. As consumers' acceptance of electric mobility grows, the company has reported a notable increase in EV sales in both the domestic and export markets. With a variety of cutting-edge vehicles to choose from, Tata Motors is anticipated to solidify its leadership in the passenger car market with the upcoming launches in 2024.
