These 5 Suvs Are Confirmed To Debut This Year

These 5 SUVs are confirmed to debut this year!

This year, the Indian automotive market will welcome the arrival of several eagerly awaited new SUVs, such as the Tata Curvv, Creta EV, and Thar 5-Door. New players are entering the Indian market as a result of the SUV's growing market share. Automobile manufacturers are actively trying to diversify their product lines in the ICE and electric vehicle markets to meet this demand. Some very well-liked and eagerly awaited SUVs will go on sale in 2024. Let's now read the details of the best upcoming SUVs for this year.

Tata Curvv

The Tata Curvv, which was recently unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, is soon to go into production. Its electric version is anticipated to make its public debut in the middle of 2024, and the conventionally powered Curvv will follow. We managed to catch a decent look at its exterior design, which features a recognizable front fascia, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline, even though the interiors are still under wraps. It will be powered by both the new 1.2-liter GDI petrol engine and the well-known 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine from the Nexon.

Mahindra XUV.e8

By the end of 2024, the Mahindra XUV.e8 is anticipated to go on sale in India, utilizing the brand's born-electric INGLO platform. The electrified XUV700 will generate between 227 and 345 horsepower by drawing energy from an 80 kWh battery pack. With a single or dual motor setup, it will be offered in two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. It will be slightly bigger in terms of dimensions than the XUV700. A few sightings of the XUV.e8 near-production test mule in India have partially revealed the car's design, which includes new alloy wheel designs, full-width LED DRL, and a new set of vertically stacked LED headlamps.

Tata Harrier EV

The Harrier EV, which was recently shown in concept form at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, is anticipated to make its Indian debut during the holiday season in 2024. The highly modified OMEGA-Arc platform designed specifically for electric vehicles will serve as the foundation for the electric SUV. With a battery pack estimated to be around 60 kWh, the electrified Harrier is anticipated to have a stated range of about 500 kilometers. The design will incorporate elements unique to electric vehicles and draw inspiration from the Harrier facelift. AWD with two motors will also be installed.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

By the end of 2024, Maruti Suzuki eVX will go on sale in India. The nation has already seen several eavesdropping tests of the company's first electric vehicle. Newborn-electric skateboard platform will serve as the foundation for the electric SUV. The production-spec vehicle's dimensions are expected to be 4.3 meters long and 2700mm wide at the wheelbase. The EV will come with two different battery pack options: a 48 kWh battery that can travel 400 kilometers on a single charge, and a larger 60 kWh battery that can travel 550 kilometers. These details were provided by the company.

Mahindra Thar 5-Door

The Thar 5-Door may get minor design updates, including a new front grille, LED headlamps, new 19-inch alloy wheels, redesigned tail lamps, and more, according to the leaked spy photos. A push-button start, an electric sunroof, front and rear armrests, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and a new steering wheel are all included inside the cabin.
