The 7 First-Ever Features of Tata Harrier EV 2025

The 2025 Tata Harrier EV introduces seven innovative features, marking significant advancements in Tata Motors’ electric vehicle offerings.

Tata Harrier EV

Tata Motors has unveiled the 2025 Harrier EV, a vehicle that not only represents the company’s foray into electric mobility but also introduces several first-time features for the brand. These innovations position the Harrier EV as a significant milestone in Tata’s automotive journey.

1. Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) System

For the first time, a Tata vehicle features a dual-motor AWD setup. This configuration includes electric motors on both the front and rear axles, delivering a combined output of 158PS and 238PS along with 504 Nm of torque. This setup enables the Harrier EV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, making it the fastest Tata car to date.

2. Auto-Park Assist

The Harrier EV introduces an auto-park assist feature, allowing the vehicle to park itself without driver intervention. This system manages steering, acceleration, and braking to navigate into parking spots, enhancing convenience and safety.

3. Summon Functionality

A notable addition is the summon feature, which enables the driver to move the car forward or backward using the key fob. This function is particularly useful for maneuvering the vehicle in tight parking spaces.

4. Six Multi-Terrain Modes

The Harrier EV offers six distinct terrain modes: Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass, and Custom. These modes adjust the vehicle’s dynamics to suit various driving conditions, enhancing off-road capabilities.

5. 14.5-Inch QLED Touchscreen Infotainment System

Setting a new standard for in-car entertainment, the Harrier EV is equipped with a 14.5-inch Samsung QLED touchscreen. This high-resolution display offers improved visuals and user experience compared to previous models.

6. Digital IRVM with Integrated Dashcam

The internal rearview mirror (IRVM) in the Harrier EV doubles as a digital display, providing a live feed from a rear-mounted camera. Additionally, it features an integrated dashcam, offering enhanced visibility and recording capabilities for added safety.

7. Transparent Mode in 360-Degree Camera

An innovative ‘transparent mode’ in the 360-degree camera system allows drivers to view the terrain directly beneath the vehicle. This feature is particularly beneficial for off-road driving, helping to navigate obstacles with greater precision.

These pioneering features in the 2025 Tata Harrier EV underscore Tata Motors’ commitment to innovation and enhancing the driving experience. As the company continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio, the Harrier EV stands as a testament to its forward-thinking approach in the automotive industry.
