Tata Motors has recently launched its very first showroom specially dedicated to electric vehicles (EVs) in Gurgaon, located near Sohna Road and Sector 14. This showroom marks Tata's debut in focusing solely on electric cars. They plan to welcome people into their showroom from the next year.
The inaugural ceremony for Tata's two EV-centric showrooms in Gurgaon took place on January 7, 2024. Tata Motors has plans to open more such stores in cities where people are buying electric cars more actively. Over the next 12 to 18 months, they aim to establish two to three new stores in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Chennai.
It's interesting to note that Tata Motors designed these EV showrooms with care for the environment in mind. They used eco-friendly materials like unfired clay bricks and recyclable resources during the construction process. The design allows natural light to brighten the space, and there are LED lights equipped with sensors to conserve energy.
These new EV showrooms won't only be available to buy cars; Tata Motors plans to organize various activities, such as yoga classes and events forging a message of sustainability and overall mental stability for their customers. They are also teaming up with suppliers who offer eco-friendly products. Customers visiting these showrooms will have the option to drop off recyclable waste. At these locations, Tata Motors will showcase a wide range of electric cars, including models like Tiago.ev, Tigor.ev, and Nexon.ev. Furthermore, they're planning to introduce electrified versions of Punch and Harrier. There's also excitement building up for the upcoming Curvv EV, which is expected to make its debut soon.
With these efforts and the introduction of diverse electric vehicle models, Tata Motors aims to bring more awareness and accessibility to eco-friendly transportation options across various cities in India making an example to foster better environmental conditions in our country and sending a great message to all the people.
