The Tata Curvv has been spotted testing in India and it is likely to get electric, diesel and petrol powertrains. The Tata Curvv launch date is expected to be in early 2024. It will have a longer wheelbase than the Tata Nexon along with a new front and rear section. The camouflaged car shows alloy wheels and flared wheel arches on the profile section. We can expect some cladding on the sides as well. The roofline gets a tapering treatment towards the rear section.
The Curvv is likely to share the body panels, windscreen and other parts of the Nexon for retaining the quality and keeping the costs in check. We can also expect the Curvv to have a larger boot and more space for the cabin.
The two-spoke digital steering wheel is likely to make it to the Curvv. The gen 2 platform based Tata Curvv is likely to be offered in two variants: Max and Prime, just like the Nexon. It will house a sizable battery pack which could give a range of around 500 km on a single charge. The ICE counterpart is likely to house a 1.5-litre, four-pot unit. This will be the fifth electric vehicle in the India line up which includes the Nexon EV, Tigor EV, Tiago EV and Xpres-T.
