Tata Curvv ICE: Power and Design Unleashed

Tata Motors is on the verge of introducing the highly anticipated Curvv, a distinctive coupe SUV that will be available in electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) versions. The latest buzz surrounds the testing of the Curvv ICE model, seen as a potential contender in the fiercely competitive mid-size segment, pitting itself against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.

Tata Curvv ICE: Engines and Specifications

At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors unveiled two turbo petrol engines designed to power the Curvv. The first is a 1.2-liter TGDi engine, delivering an impressive 123bhp and 225Nm of torque. For those seeking more power, there's the 1.5-litre TGDi engine, generating 167bhp and 280Nm. The official word is that the Curvv will be equipped with the 1.2-litre turbo engine, and while transmission details are not confirmed, expectations lean towards a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Adding versatility to the lineup, Tata will also offer a diesel variant, featuring the proven 1.5-litre engine found in the Nexon. This diesel powertrain produces 113bhp and 260Nm, with transmission options including a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.

Tata Curvv ICE: Design

Setting itself apart with a distinctive coupe SUV design, the Curvv promises to capture the attention of SUV enthusiasts. Embracing Tata Motors' innovative Digital Design DNA, the Curvv showcases a commanding presence with a tall stance, sleek LED daytime running lights (DRL) below the bonnet hood, and eye-catching triangular headlamps. The side profile reveals muscular wheel arches and connected LED tail lamps, contributing to its dynamic appeal.

Inside the Curvv, expect a spacious cabin that prioritizes comfort and modern features. A two-spoke steering wheel, front ventilated seats, 360-degree camera system, panoramic roof, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are among the amenities that enhance the driving experience and passenger comfort.
