The redesigned and fresh Altroz facelift now hits showrooms across the nation's full premium hatchback segment, as Tata Motors charges ahead. The refreshed Tata Altroz facelift was launched a little over a month ago with a tempting starting price of Rs 6.89 lakh (ex-showroom price), with the updated Altroz ranging in price (ex-showroom) up to Rs 11.49 lakh.
The new Tata Altroz facelift is available in seven variants: Smart, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative S, Accomplished S and Accomplished+ S.
Multiple Powertrains for Wider Appeal
The 2025 Altroz should have new powertrain options based on customer needs and it offers three options:
A 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol
A 1.2-litre petrol-CNG dual fuel
A 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel
The transmission options provided are a reflection of Tata's goal of appealing to both the typical driver and the modern evolution of driving. The CNG and diesel were manual and the petrol-only option provides the manual, DCT and AMT options; one of the few vehicles in the segment that has a diverse offering.
Bold Fresh Look Upgrades To Cabin
From an aesthetics point of view, the facelift has a fresh new front fascia with a new grille with sharper headlamps and a new set of LED DRLs; flush door handles with new alloy wheels, a set of connected LED tail lamps for a premium modern look.
Internally, the cabin has had a moderately significant meaningful upgrades including:
New infotainment screen
Fully digital instrument cluster
360-degree surround view camera
Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
An electric sunroof
65W fast-charging Type-C ports
New seat covers with more padding and thigh support
Strong Value Proposition
Starting at under Rs 6.89 lakhs, Tata has loaded the Altroz facelift with a equipment level that punches above its weight. Clearly, Tata is looking to position the Altroz as a high-value, feature-rich hatchback that competes with not only pricing, but also with design, performance and tech.
If you're going to check it out, display units are now available in Tata showrooms across India.
