The Cayenne Coupe Electric arrives in three performance-focused variants, headlined by a Turbo that sprints from 0 to 100kph in just 2.5 seconds.
The car's sloped roofline cuts drag to 0.23Cd, granting it up to 18km more range than the standard Cayenne Electric.
Porsche has officially taken the covers off the Cayenne Coupe Electric at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, marking the first time the iconic coupe-SUV nameplate has gone fully electric. This is the first-ever fully electric version of the Cayenne Coupe, whose combustion-engined debut was in 2019.
The new model slots above the recently launched Cayenne Electric SUV and is already on sale in the US and UK, with customer deliveries in the US set to begin in Q3 2026. An India arrival is anticipated in late 2026 or early 2027.
A Trio of Variants to Cover Every Performance Need
Depending on the market, the Cayenne Coupe Electric will be sold in Cayenne Coupe, Cayenne S Coupe and Cayenne Turbo Coupe variants. All three share a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain fed by a 113kWh Nickel Manganese Cobalt battery pack.
The entry-level Cayenne Coupe produces 442hp and 834 Nm of torque, while the mid-tier S steps things up to 666hp and 1,079 Nm.
At the top of the range, the Turbo produces up to 1,156hp and 1,500 Nm with the overboost function enabled, achieving a claimed top speed of 260kph and a 0-100kph time of 2.5 seconds.
Aerodynamics and Range, Where the Coupe Justifies Its Shape
The sloping roofline is not merely a design flourish. The Cayenne Coupe Electric achieves a lower drag coefficient of 0.23, which helps it claim up to 18km more range than the equivalent Cayenne Electric SUV.
The top-spec Turbo boasts a claimed WLTP range of up to 669km. Porsche has also fitted the car with an Active Aerodynamics system that includes automatic front air shutters and side flaps, plus an adaptive rear spoiler.
Fast Charging That Means Business
Thanks to 800-volt technology, the Cayenne Coupe Electric can charge at compatible DC fast chargers with up to 390kW, and under specific conditions, even up to 400kW.
Charging from 10 to 80 per cent is expected to take just 16 minutes. An 11kW AC charger comes as standard, with a 22kW option available for those who want quicker overnight top-ups.
A Cabin Built for Driver and Passenger Alike
Inside, the Cayenne Coupe Electric gets a panoramic glass roof with electric opacity adjustment and up to three digital displays, including a 14.5-inch curved touchscreen.
A 14.25-inch instrument panel and an optional 14.9-inch secondary display round out the digital suite, alongside an augmented-reality head-up display.
Rear passengers can choose between a 2+1 layout with individual captain seats or a more conventional arrangement. The main boot offers up to 534 litres of space, with a further 90 litres available in the front boot.
Optional Lightweight Sport Package for Those Who Want More
For buyers after an extra dose of visual drama, the optional Lightweight Sport package adds 22-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tyres, carbon trim, a carbon roof and a suede-type material for the headliner.
