Nissan Launches Flood Support Program for Kolkata Owners

In the wake of recent floods in Kolkata, Nissan India has introduced a dedicated customer assistance program. The initiative includes a 24/7 helpdesk, free towing, extended workshop hours, and support with insurance claims, along with special service discounts, ensuring affected customers can get their vehicles back on the road with minimal hassle.

Nissan Motor India has risen to the occasion in order to help its customers in Kolkata, which has been highly affected by the recent floods and waterlogging. The firm has even introduced a special flood support initiative that is supposed to alleviate the burden of owners of flood-damaged cars.

This initiative has a central element of a special helpdesk (1800 209 3456) where clients will consult and receive direct help.

Another service Nissan has provided is free towing of damaged cars to the closest authorised service centre, where the affected owners do not need to worry about the extra costs of transporting the vehicle.

Discounts and Long-term Service Support

In order to handle the increase in demand for the workshop, the Nissan workshops will have longer working hours in the region. The business is also helping with insurance claims, such as the coverage of the excess clause fee, an aspect that many people tend to ignore, but is a very important aspect during such incidents.

Furthermore, the customers will be offered a discount of 10 per cent on engine oil and replacement of oil filters and a further 10 per cent discount on replacement of floor carpets. These measures aim to reduce the cost of repair for owners who have suffered unexpected damage.

Health Check-Up on Affected Vehicles

Nissan is also performing a complete health check-up of their vehicles in addition to repair works. This check is done to make sure that all important systems are checked for the damage they could have caused due to the floods, hence the customers are assured of the safety and reliability of their vehicles in the long term.

Nissan’s Commitment to Customers

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, highlighted the company’s focus on standing by customers during difficult times. He stated, “The recent floods and waterlogging in Kolkata have impacted many families and brought unexpected challenges. At Nissan, our customers are always at the heart of what we do, and we want to stand by them in this difficult time. Through our helpdesk, free towing and dedicated assistance, we aim to ensure that our customers can continue to celebrate the season with peace of mind and confidence.”
