Nine Models Of Mercedes Audi Bmw And Mini To Launch In India This Year

Nine Models of Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and MINI to launch in India this year

The Luxurious car brands from Mercedes to MINI are planning to launch as many as nine models in India this year. These will include new cars and SUVs as well as improvements to current models.

Mercedes Launches

Mercedes-Benz has announced the launch of nine models in India by 2024, The S 63 e-Performance and the C 63 e-Performance, which are scheduled to debut in the second quarter of 2024, will be added to the AMG roster. The current E-Class is still Mercedes' best-selling vehicle, and although the next-generation model has been revealed internationally, the long-wheelbase type is anticipated to be available in our region. The new E-Class is anticipated to arrive here this year, though the exact date is still up in the air.

Regarding electric vehicles, Mercedes-Benz states that sales of the EQE SUV in its lineup of EVs will continue to grow. By the end of 2024, the automaker plans to introduce three new electric vehicles, one of which is probably the Maybach EQS SUV. Interestingly, the EQG is scheduled to launch globally on April 24.

BMW Launches

The BMW 5 Series is also set for a launch in India this festive season. This eighth-generation model will come in a long wheelbase guise, unlike its electric counterpart, the i5, which comes with a regular wheelbase option.

Audi New Arrival

Audi is getting ready to introduce the Q6 e-tron, the company's first car to be constructed on the PPE platform. Arriving by year-end, this electric SUV is anticipated to have two-wheel drive and an 83kWh battery pack.

It is anticipated that the Q6 e-tron will cost between ₹70 lakh and ₹80 lakh.

The Audi Q8 facelift, which debuted globally last September and has minor changes and new amenities over the outgoing model, will soon be available in India.

MINI Launches

It is reported that MINI Countryman and Cooper Electric are slated for release in India. The new three-door electric hatchback is built on a customized electric vehicle platform created by Spotlight Automotive, a joint venture between Great Wall Motor and BMW, the parent company of Mini, based in China. With a front-mounted 184hp, 290Nm motor, and a 40.7kWh battery, the standard Cooper E is said to have a 305km range. The Cooper SE has a 0-100 kph pace of 6.7 seconds and produces 218 horsepower and 330 Nm.

In its third generation, Mini's five-door crossover is scheduled to arrive in India. The new car's increased size has also resulted in more cabin space, with the rear having 130mm more legroom. There is 460 liters of boot capacity, and the rear seat backrests may now be adjusted individually in six positions by up to 12 degrees. Notably, Level 2 ADAS will be available for the first time in a Mini—the Countryman.
