There is a steady rise in the number of individuals breaching traffic regulations on the roads of West Delhi. The most recent data indicates that during January and February of 2024, a total of 52,593 drivers were issued challans. The greatest number of cases among these involve individuals driving without a Pollution Certificate (PUC).

The traffic police is consistently implementing stringent measures. The figures show its effect clearly. In the first two months of this year, 33,650 vehicles were penalized for lacking a pollution certificate.
